who'd you say was playing tonight?

machine gun jelly roll?

the bartender doesn't see my face

he doesn't remember me

or he doesn't want to

he's seen to many in a frenzy

rather be faceless than face this

what's worse, the addictions or the withdrawals

from the highs i'm really avoiding

the lesser of too many evils

time passes and then times moves differently

don't take someone else's depression personally

the issues were written all over his face

he wore it on his face

not too many years from now

we will communicate

visually/emotionally only

words are thoughts turned into airwaves

everything else is dreams

music is dancing air

swaying to the wavelengths

to the part of the universe that is emotion

& that which our souls are intertwined to

love is both tragic and magic

the greatest feature of love

is that it can over come any and all challenges

it's funny that i love you because you are smart

and you love me because i am funny

you make me feel handsome when i feel funny looking

we loved each other so much we couldn't believe it
